The holidays are going to be extra special for us this year for 2 reasons…
1, A new addition to the family :) & 2, A 4 year old who is finally old enough to completely indulge in the magic of Santa.
I’ve been very busy lately. Barely enough time to focus on decorating, but we did complete a few projects.
The table. Oh how I love decorating the table for parties, in this case Christmas Eve. Cooper knows something special is on the horizon when his mother starts hauling twigs, branches, candles, and linens out of the closets, ha ha.
We baked cookies. My success rate with baking is about 50/50, so when a friend’s sister kindly shared this ultra simple recipe (sugar, butter, flour), I decided to go for it. Delicious. They are the real buttery deal. The best part? Mixing frosting colors (imagine that)!
And I spruced up our bedroom. New bedding, new wall color (Benjamin Moore Pashmina), and a few new pieces of art. Ahhh, soothing gentle palette.
So there you have it… A sincere thank you to all, readers and clients, for a wonderful business year. I hope you enjoy the holidays completely with good friends and family.
