It went something like this…
To my dear son Cooper (who really asked this question) and the kind souls who may have lost a bit of hope, the new Color Zen has arrived! ;)
We have a new custom WordPress website that functions so well I can’t wait to start filling your life with bigger/better, regularly scheduled blog postings. A sincere thank you to Benjamin & Bibi of 82Birds for helping me sort through an incredible list of considerations, font woes, and growing pains, to ensure this design endeavor finished on a high-note. I learned a ton in the process!
It was time… Time to consolidate the website and blog under one new domain, createcolorzen.com. Add additional color + design services. Update the gallery. Add a few extras like the Brush of the Month and Color Forecast page. And streamline all consulting information.
Business has been really good all Summer. I have been super busy with interior and exterior color consultations, as well as decorating projects. What tends to happen is I visit first for color, and second for the coordination of decor. I have been humbled by it all. Client relationships, the difficulty of web-design, the art of juggling children and work, the appreciation you feel when people exceed your expectations, and you know… just the whole process.
All that said, I hope you enjoy the new site!! I welcome feedback, questions, etc. And if you’re interested in a new stack of business cards…
I would be happy to send. There are 2 colors, warm and cool… couldn’t help myself. Hoppmann Group did a great job on the printing.
So now that we’ve all been introduced, let’s start generating some good color/design inspiration for the Fall 12′ season right?
