In chatting with friends and moms, I’ve noticed joy radiates at the very mention of our children’s rooms. What they look like, where we bought the crib, why we choose the colors. No design or DIY angst, just a labor of love :)
Let’s face it, children love magical little escapes, with bright color and limitless imagination. Today I pulled together some ideas to inspire, and I’ll even throw in paint color ideas.
If you need help creating a special oasis for your little one, call me. I LOVE this lighthearted work.
Such a cute mixture of things. Bright colors tempered by a subtle wall color, which would be close to Benjamin Moore revere pewter or edgecomb gray.
As a young girl I was obsessed with rainbow colors (imagine that), and this version is too cute to not create for your daughter. The imperfect paint lines feel a little organic.
When it comes to decals and murals, it’s difficult to get the scale and detail right. I love this one for many reasons! A variety of mediums could be used on a white wall, which reminds me… Do you know Benjamin Moore offers chalkboard paint in any color?
This nursery is so gentle and pretty. Painting the frame of an old, ornate mirror is time well spent. The wall color would be close to Benjamin Moore odessa pink.
And revisiting that irresistible neon coral accent from last week’s post, Sherwin Williams has a line of special order neons that I will be investigating further (keep you posted).
Hope this info. sparks good ideas. Have a great week readers.
