In the last several years, we have been consumed by our love for gray and it’s variations from warm to cool. Don’t worry… it’s still around. HOWEVER, this season, I’m feeling major momentum from a new wave of hues. Take note of your catalog room styling, household product commercials, and design magazines. What do you see?
I see white, buff, cream, tan, camel, and muted shades of pink. There is an interesting rose undertone emerging across the board. I keep visualizing eggshells, they are a perfect representation of this color range.
Stagers, are you cheering? You love these colors (well maybe minus the pink). Versatile, complementary of a wide variety of wood tones, bright & warm, fresh & clean. Positive energy swirls at their application.
I also believe these colors relate to our retro design obsession. They set the stage for pops of pastel turquoise, pink, and yellow. Very Adele/1950’s with a twist.
And the paint daubs would go something like this. What do you think?
