Refreshing! It’s neither an “accent wall” or the old chair rail trick…
It’s a new way to double-dip your room, and I give it a thumbs-up.
Why? Because it’s creative and free. No rules in terms of where you drawn the line- somewhere near the middle will do. And the “color bars” add a graphic design quality that feels modern and fresh.
The color combos dictate whether the look is bold or soft. And I admit, even if one of the colors is straight out of the blue, it still seems to work?
The line in-between the colors can be either straight or imperfectly blended. So don’t worry if the edge isn’t razor sharp.
And the commitment level is very low. If you tire of the combo, you can just paint over it!
