When inPAINT Magazine approached me to contribute to an article, I graciously accepted. I’m kind of a talker and enjoy providing when I can :) This magazine circulates to design, trade and paint professionals across the country, so that’s exciting.
The article explores paint color in relation to home sales, a subject that’s definitely of daily significance in my work life (collaborating with many buyers/sellers/agents). I watch properties sit on the market and then sell in an instant after a few paint/design tweaks. It’s fascinating. And there’s no exact formula… so that keeps a designer on his/her toes.
I’m flattered to be featured alongside Sue Wadden, director of color marketing at Sherwin-Williams. We seem to share a lot of the same thoughts and ideas. You can check out the article here > http://inpaintmag.com/choosing-colors-that-sell-homes/.
If you’ve had personal experiences related to color in home sales (for better or worse), feel free to comment. I love to listen and learn!
