Kitchen Design 2022.

Through the years, I've developed a niche for new build and remodel selections and it has become some of my favorite design work. Blank slate, photos as inspiration and opportunity to incorporate fresh design trends.

We typically begin selections with the largest surfaces in the room- floor, walls, cabinetry and move into smaller details like lighting, tile, hardware, etc. If you really want to produce a stunning space, many hours are entailed to balance every detail. These days the ultimate challenge is sorting through thousands of options.If I'm working on a new build, we almost always begin with the kitchen which sets the design tone for the rest of the space. Home owners are spending the most to create large, open, luxury kitchens. Some of the most popular kitchen design elements for 2022 and beyond are of course the sprawling island with ample seating, statement lighting, paneled appliances, built-in beverage refrigerators, a special drawer for everything and a butler's pantry.The image above is a recently completed kitchen in a new build in New Berlin. I wish everyone could feel this space in person because it has the most pleasant demeanor and beautiful lighting. We used quartz countertops, white oak flooring and island with a natural matte stain, black and gold hardware, off white cabinetry- Sherwin gossamer veil, pure white walls, shiplap ceiling, picket zellige accent tile and statement pendants.Bring me all of your best new builds and remodels!Cheers,Jessamy
